Urban Design Committee

The Urban Design Committee, appointed by the Exposition Construction Authority Board, has been meeting monthly to provide input into the urban design elements of the Exposition Line project. This past fall, the committee achieved consensus on these design elements, and presented them to the community in a series of meetings that took place in November 2006. Upon receiving positive feedback from the Urban Design Committee and the community, the Expo Board approved the conceptual design elements for the Exposition Line project at their board meeting in December 2006.

Design Presentation Meetings

With final design for Phase 1 of the Expo Line project well underway, the Expo Construction Authority held community meetings in November to present key design elements. These Design Presentations provided stakeholders an opportunity to see the proposed design for the canopy, wall treatments and landscaping elements, as well as hear about art opportunities available at the various stations.
